Site administrators can edit and manage content 'in-context' by clicking the 'Edit' link. The Lamb has 8 more weeks to run in it's current format. After that it will be handed over to it's new owners, (The Lamb HAS been sold).
Mike Mann is running the last 8 open Mic Night Thursdays, and bands are being booked to fill the Friday and Saturday Music Nights. (3 bands on Feb 19th!).

The Lamb was expected to close in mid January, but has been given an unexpected reprieve as a music venue. Despite reports that it had been sold, Punch Taverns have told the landlord that they do not have a buyer. 'It's been very difficult' said landlord Mark Stimson, 'The brewery have been unable to offer much in the way of support to the pub while I have been here, but I am determined to keep the place going as the place in Malvern for live music. - I'm sure Punch will back the Lamb if enough people come through the door on a regular basis. Especially since it's the only venue in Malvern where large bands can play'.
Some customers at the pub have been confused about whether the venue is open or not with a couple of gigs over the Christmas period being billed as the last ever at the Lamb. We truly thought New Year's Eve was the last time we'd play at the Lamb' said Ray Toland from the Funky Junky Monkeys. 'We had a fantastic New Year party at the pub and thought, that was that! It's great news that it's to stay open. What it needs now is a bit more support from the music loving public'.
The venue is now booking bands and DJs for the next few months on Friday and Saturday nights with new-style open mic nights every Thursday. For upcoming gigs at the Lamb see www.malvernlamb.co.uk.
